X-Roulette is Rollbit's own multiplier game, and despite the name it has nothing to do with a roulette table. Every round the wheel lands on one multiplier between 1.00x and 1,000,000x. Before it spins you pick a target: if the result is equal to or higher than your target, you win your stake times that target, and if it lands lower, the bet is lost. In our own timing a new round starts roughly every 27 seconds. The return is 95%, a 5% house edge that applies to every target you choose, and each round's result comes with a cryptographic proof you can check afterwards. We checked 29 rounds in a row ourselves: every published result matched.

Key takeaways

  • How it works: each round lands on one multiplier from 1.00x to 1,000,000x. You pick a target; the round must reach it for you to win your stake times the target.
  • RTP: 95%, a 5% house edge. It is the same at every target, because the chance of reaching a target falls exactly as fast as its payout rises.
  • Odds: the chance of a round reaching target T is 95% divided by T. That is 47.5% for 2x, 9.5% for 10x and 0.095% for 1,000x.
  • Instant losses: about 5.9% of rounds, roughly 1 in 17, land on 1.00x, which beats every target. No choice of target avoids those rounds.
  • Checkable: Rollbit publishes a random value and a proof for every round, so any result can be recomputed after the spin.

What X-Roulette is

X-Roulette is a Rollbit Original, one of the house games the casino builds itself. The name borrows from roulette and the screen shows a spinning strip of tribal masks, but there is no ball, no table and no colour bet. Each round the strip stops on a single multiplier, and the whole game is deciding which multiplier you think the round will reach.

It is closest to a crash game without the rising line. In crash you watch the multiplier climb and cash out in time; in X-Roulette you commit to your target before the spin and the result arrives at once. Because it is a Rollbit exclusive, it is only playable at Rollbit.

How a round works

A round lasts about 27 seconds. During the betting window you set your wager and a target multiplier anywhere from 1.01x to 1,000,000x. Then the strip spins and stops on the round’s multiplier, which can be anything from 1.00x upwards.

If that multiplier is equal to or higher than your target, you are paid your wager times your target, not times the result. If it lands lower, you lose the wager. A round that lands on 45x pays a 2x target exactly 2x. The last ten results sit above the wheel, and every one of them is independent of the next.

RTP, odds and max win

The return is 95%, a 5% house edge, set out by Rollbit in the game’s fairness notes and in its own guide to the game. That is five times the 1% of the best crash games, so it is not a cheap game to play.

The odds are clean enough to work out in your head: the chance of reaching a target is 95% divided by that target. Some reference points:

TargetChance to reach itPayout on a win
1.5x63.3%1.5x stake
2x47.5%2x stake
5x19.0%5x stake
10x9.5%10x stake
100x0.95%100x stake

Multiply any row’s chance by its payout and the product never moves. About 5.9% of all rounds land on exactly 1.00x, and those lose at every target. The maximum multiplier is 1,000,000x, and Rollbit’s guide to the game caps the profit on a single round at $500,000.

How the result is made, and how we checked it

Every round has a number, and Rollbit feeds that round number, the game’s name and a fixed public seed into a verifiable random function, a signature scheme only it can produce but anyone can check. The output is the round’s random value. The multiplier comes from it with one published formula: the first eight bytes become a number between 0 and 1, the multiplier is 0.95 divided by that number, cut down to two decimals, and the result is held between 1.00x and 1,000,000x.

After each round, Rollbit publishes the random value together with a proof and its public key. Below the wheel, the Verify Fairness link opens a list of recent rounds; each has a Verify button that shows the round’s request, random value and proof, along with the short script Rollbit provides to check the proof and recompute the multiplier. We ran that check on 29 consecutive rounds, from low results such as 1.06x and 2.15x up to 45.14x, and every recomputed multiplier matched what the wheel showed. What this proves is that the results were fixed by the scheme and not adjusted afterwards. The 5% edge, on the other hand, is written into the formula itself, so fairness and a house advantage sit side by side.

Following the live results

Because every round resolves to one multiplier, the results are easy to record and read. Our X-Roulette live tracker shows how the results split across bands, the share of rounds under 2x, the biggest multipliers recorded and the measured return at each target, all from rounds we record and recompute ourselves.

Those panels record what already happened. A long run without a big multiplier is variance, and the next round has exactly the same odds as every other.

Winnings and withdrawals

A winning round pays straight into your Rollbit balance the moment it settles; there is no separate cash-out step inside the game. Rollbit is a crypto casino, so that balance is played and withdrawn in cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin and Ethereum through the casino’s cashier. Minimums, fees and any checks belong to the cashier rather than to X-Roulette, so look at them in your account before you play rather than after a win.

Strategy and the honest truth

No target, system or betting pattern changes the 95% return. Doubling after a loss only makes the swings deeper until a long losing run or the profit cap stops it, and waiting for a high multiplier because none has appeared for a while is the gambler’s fallacy. The real choice is how you want your results to feel: low targets win often and slowly bleed the edge, high targets lose most rounds and occasionally pay a lot. Pick the swing you are comfortable with, set a budget in money or rounds before you start, and stop when it is gone.

Where it fits

X-Roulette suits players who want a fast, simple multiplier game with results they can verify, and who are fine with a 5% edge for it. The honest downsides are that edge, which is five times what the best crash games take, the speed of the rounds, which makes it easy to bet a lot quickly, and access: Rollbit is licensed in Anjouan and blocks a number of countries, including Germany in our own test. If you like the format, Stake Crash offers the same idea with a live rising line and a 1% edge, and our crash games guide covers the genre.

Frequently asked questions

Is X-Roulette 100% luck?

Yes. Every round's result comes from a random value fixed by the round number and Rollbit's private key, published with a proof once the round is over, so nothing you do changes where the wheel lands. Your only decisions are the stake and the target multiplier, and those change how often you win and how much, not the long-run return. At any target, the game returns 95% of what is staked over time. A run of low results never makes a high one due; each round is independent of the last.

What is the most effective X-Roulette strategy?

There is no strategy that beats X-Roulette, because the 5% house edge is the same at every target. What you can choose is the ride. A low target such as 1.5x wins about 63% of rounds for a small profit, while a high target such as 10x wins about 9.5% of rounds for a large one. Both return 95% over time. The effective part of any approach is a fixed budget and a stake you can afford to lose many times in a row.

How much do you win if you bet $100 on X-Roulette?

You win $100 times your chosen target if the round lands at or above it. A $100 bet at 2x returns $200, a profit of $100, and succeeds in about 47.5% of rounds. At 10x the same bet returns $1,000 but succeeds in about 9.5% of rounds. If the round lands below your target, the $100 is lost. The largest profit Rollbit allows on a single round is $500,000, whatever the target.

What is the riskiest bet in X-Roulette?

The riskiest bet is a very high target. At 1,000,000x the chance of a round reaching it is about 0.000095%, so you would expect to lose almost every time. The house edge is the same 5% as at a low target, but the swings are enormous: long losing runs are normal and a single hit carries the whole average. The least risky bet is the lowest target, 1.01x, which wins about 94% of rounds and loses in the rest.

Is Rollbit X-Roulette rigged?

The results are checkable, which is the strongest answer a casino game can give. Each round's result comes from a random value Rollbit signs with a private key, and it publishes that value and a proof after the spin, so anyone can confirm the value is genuine and recompute the multiplier with the published formula. In our own check every recomputed round matched the wheel, which rules out results being altered after the fact. The 5% house edge is still part of the maths.
