Roobet Crash is the crash game Roobet runs itself, and it plays the classic way: a rocket takes off, a multiplier climbs from 1.00x, and you cash out before it crashes or lose the bet. The results are provably fair, and we've checked that: we rebuilt all 37,389 rounds of Roobet's current hash chain back to the seed Roobet published before it started, and every round we compared with Roobet's own figures matched its verifier. What Roobet doesn't advertise is the price. It states no RTP, but its formula works out to about 95.5% at a 2x cash-out, a house edge around 4.5%, several times what the cheapest crash games take.

Key takeaways

  • How it works: a rocket climbs with a multiplier from 1.00x. Cash out before the crash to win bet times the multiplier; still in when it crashes and the bet is lost.
  • Real RTP: Roobet publishes no RTP. Its own verifier formula returns 95.52% at a 2x cash-out and about 95.0% at high targets: a house edge of roughly 4.5% to 5%.
  • Odds: a round reaches a multiplier M with a chance of 96% x 99% divided by (M - 0.01): 47.76% for 2x, 9.51% for 10x.
  • Instant crashes: 4% of rounds are forced to 1.00x, and about 1% more crash below 1.01x: 4.96% of all rounds end at 1.00x.
  • Fairness: every round comes from a pre-committed hash chain mixed with an Ethereum block hash chosen in advance. We rebuilt all 37,389 rounds back to the published seed.

What Roobet Crash is

Roobet Crash is one of Roobet’s house games, so it’s only playable at Roobet. Roobet’s own help pages call it the crown jewel of the site and describe it simply: a rocket goes up to a random multiplier each game, and the goal is to cash out before it crashes.

Nothing about the format is unusual. What sets Roobet’s version apart is how visibly its results can be checked, and how much more its formula keeps than most crash games.

Roobet Crash game rules: how a round plays

Each round starts with a betting window. Then the rocket launches and the multiplier climbs from 1.00x. Cash out at any point and your bet is paid at the multiplier shown; if the round crashes first, the bet is lost. From the start times Roobet publishes, a new round begins about every 25 seconds, roughly 3,400 a day.

Roobet’s game copy says the multiplier has no cap, and the biggest round in the current chain so far reached 106,341.8x. What a single bet can actually win depends on the casino’s own limits, so check those in your account before counting on a huge multiplier.

RTP, odds and the house edge

Roobet doesn’t publish an RTP for Crash, but its verifier formula settles it. Four rounds in every hundred are forced to crash at 1.00x, and the rest follow a curve with a further 1% built in. The chance of a round reaching a multiplier M works out to 96% x 99% / (M - 0.01):

Cash out atChance to get thereReturn on the stake
1.5x63.79%95.68%
2x47.76%95.52%
5x19.05%95.23%
10x9.51%95.14%
100x0.95%95.05%

Unlike a flat-edge game, the price creeps up slightly with the target, from about 96% at the lowest cash-outs toward 95% at high ones. Our records agree: 47.55% of the 37,389 rounds we hold reached 2x, against the 47.76% the formula gives, and 4.96% ended at 1.00x, exactly the formula’s 4% forced crashes plus the rounds that fall just below 1.01x.

How each crash point is made and checked

Roobet generated a chain of two million hashes before the current run of rounds began and plays it backwards: each round’s hash, revealed when it ends, hashes to the one before it. Its verifier combines each hash with a salt Roobet couldn’t choose, the hash of a specific Ethereum block announced in advance, using HMAC-SHA256, and turns the result into the crash point with the formula above.

We walked the chain back from a live round to its first one and landed exactly on the starting seed Roobet had published, which proves every hash in between is the one Roobet committed to. Each round we’ve recorded live is checked against the crash point Roobet shows before it’s stored, and none has differed. How this kind of commitment works, and what it can’t prove, is covered in our provably fair guide.

Roobet Crash history and results

Our Roobet Crash live tracker holds every round of the current chain, each recomputed from its hash, with real start times for the rounds we’ve recorded live and estimated times for the earlier ones we rebuilt from the chain. It shows how often rounds crash under 2x, how results spread across multiplier bands, how long since each big multiplier and what each cash-out target has returned.

It’s a record, not a forecast. The next crash point sits behind a hash that hasn’t been revealed yet.

Strategy on a 4.5% crash game

No cash-out target escapes the edge, and here the edge is large. At one unit a round, 500 rounds at a 2x cash-out cost about 22 units on average at Roobet, against about 5 at a 1% game. Low targets win often and lose steadily; high targets swing harder. Doubling after losses doesn’t change the maths, as our test of the Martingale on millions of real rounds shows, and our crash strategy guide covers what a target choice really changes. Set a budget before the first round and keep stakes small.

Who it suits, and the drawbacks

Roobet Crash suits players already at Roobet who want a simple, fast, verifiable crash game, and anyone who likes being able to rebuild a casino’s results from scratch. The drawbacks: an edge of about 4.5% that Roobet doesn’t state anywhere, the pace of a round every 25 seconds, and country restrictions that shut out players in the US, the UK and other listed countries. For the same game at a lower price, Duel Crash runs at 0.1% and Shuffle Crash at 1%; our crash games guide compares the format.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best casino crash game?

On price, not Roobet's. Its formula keeps about 4.5% at a 2x cash-out, against 1% at Shuffle Crash, Stake Crash and BC.Game Crash, and 0.1% at Duel Crash. Roobet's version is provably fair and easy to verify, so it isn't a bad game, just an expensive one. For a crash game, the edge is the single biggest difference between two otherwise identical games.

Is Roobet safe to use?

For Crash specifically, the results are safe in the sense that matters most: they're fixed in advance and checkable, and we've rebuilt the whole current chain. The casino itself operates under a Curacao licence (OGL/2024/687/0427, Raw Entertainment B.V.), which means real oversight but lighter than a UK or Malta regulator. Withdrawals, verification and complaints are covered in our full Roobet review.

Does Roobet pay out winnings?

Yes. A Crash cash-out is credited to your Roobet balance the moment you take it, and you withdraw from there like any other winnings. Roobet's terms put crypto withdrawals between near-instant and one hour, with a $200,000 daily cap, but larger withdrawals need its tiered identity checks first, which can add a day or two. Our full Roobet review covers methods and limits.

Can I play Roobet in the US?

No. Roobet's terms list the United States as a restricted territory, along with countries such as the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany and France, and it blocks those regions rather than tolerating them. That applies to Crash like every other game on the site. Check Roobet's current restricted list for your country before signing up, since it can change.

Is online casino gambling rigged?

Not in the sense of results being changed, at least not in a game you can verify. Roobet Crash commits to its entire chain of results in advance and mixes each one with a public Ethereum block hash, so it couldn't alter a round after bets were in; we rebuilt the current chain back to its published seed, and every round we compared with Roobet's figures matched. What every casino game does have is a built-in edge, and at Roobet Crash it's about 4.5%.
